The MEL Ebooks collection includes over 12,000 full-text books from netLibrary. The MEL selection of materials includes books on a wide range of topics of interest to a broad audience. You can search within the whole collection of MEL Ebooks or within a particular book to find and read the information you want.

Once you have created a netLibrary account, you will be able to access this collection from any computer that can connect to the Internet. If you want to read a book for an extended period of time you can 'check it out' for up to 6 hours.

Your initial netLibrary (free) registration can be done from a computer in a Michigan public, school, academic or special library. Once you have registered, you can access the service from home or any Internet connection, anywhere, anytime. To register, go to http://www.netlibrary.com/signup.asp

OR: you can register from home using your Michigan Driver's License number. Begin at https://www.mel.org/accessmich/

When you log in to your account, if you're registered for MEL eBbooks, your screen will say "Library of Michigan MEL eBooks Collection" at the top of the search page.
